Last updated: October 2, 2026

Overview

DriftDesk is a menu bar soundscape app for macOS. We collect no data whatsoever.

Data Collection

DriftDesk does not collect, transmit, store (off-device), or share any personal information. The app makes no network requests. All soundscapes, preferences, and generated visuals live entirely on your Mac.

Data Storage

Your preferences are stored locally on your device. They never leave your device. Deleting the app deletes all data.

Third-Party Services

DriftDesk uses no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting services. All audio is synthesized locally in real time — nothing is recorded, streamed, or stored.

Children

DriftDesk contains no content inappropriate for children and collects no data from any user of any age.
